The course reviews life-saving skills for the non-healthcare providers.  In addition to CPR and AED knowledge, the participant will learn basic First-Aid techniques for every day emergency use based on the American Heart Association Guidelines.

 

This course is intended for:
Lay rescuers who may need to respond to an emergency in the workplace
Family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac arrest

Daycare workers, personal trainers, lifeguards and those who desire base life saving skills

- Adult CPR and the use of the AED
- Adult Choking
- Child CPR and the use of the AED
- Child Choking
- Infant CPR and the use of the AED
- Infant Choking

First aid basics:

Medical emergencies such as allergic reactions and seizure patients

Injury emergencies such as head/neck/back injuries or extremity injuries

Environmental heat/cold related emergencies
